TRE ALTAMIRAis seeking a Geospatial Solutions Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll apply your InSAR, GIS, coding and technical skills to assess and manage large geospatial datasets and prepare professional reports and presentations for delivery to our clients. InSAR experience in either an academic or professional setting is required.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Using your technical background coupled with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software knowledge to critically assess InSAR data sets and perform quality control procedures, and present InSAR products to our clients
  • Managing full cycle projects using Asana, including timelines, internal and client communication, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously with accountability to commitments
  • Providing outstanding service to build lasting, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Writing clear professional reports and presentations that incorporate critical thinking and spatial data analysis
  • Liaising with the data processing team to understand and improve InSAR data sets to meet internal standards and client expectations
  • Supporting the sales and marketing team by preparing figures, presentations and other support material

Who You Are

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
  • You have advanced organizational, time and project management skills with a focus on project coordination, communication, quality, timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills with sound judgement in tailoring communication to the recipient
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, positive and helpful attitude toward forming strong professional relationships within a small diverse team
  • Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to solve problems and find new solutions
  • Ability to positively interact with clients, understand their needs, and solve their problems quickly and effectively

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of InSAR
  • Strong technical background with post-secondary education in Earth Sciences, Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Mine, Petroleum, Environmental), Geomatics, or other related disciplines
  • Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro software
  • Strong communication skills, including technical report writing, presentation skills and fluency in written/spoken English
  • A focus on client satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver client presentations
  • Knowledge of remote sensing
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Enterprise

The followings skills are an asset

  • Coding skills
  • Knowledge of mining, oil & gas or civil engineering sectors
  • Knowledge of mining (e.g. Vulcan) and/or oil & gas (e.g. Petrel, Landmark) industry software
  • Knowledge of surveying techniques
  • Project management experience
  • Additional languages in French, Spanish, Italian to interact with our clients and other offices
