We bring together a multidisciplinary team with excellent knowledge of SAR and InSAR applications. Our core competency is processing radar imagery. We provide displacement measurements and mapping solutions that are used in a variety of sectors, including oil & gas, mining, civil engineering and geohazards.

Published on January 24th, 2023. TRE ALTAMIRA, a global leader in satellite radar data processing, is looking for a Sales Support based in Vancouver, BC to liaise with our team of sales managers and provide them with support to ultimately generate new clients and continue to build successful relationships with our existing clients. The Sales Support will be reporting to the Sales Manager.

We are a small, close-knit, and collaborative team (we like each other) consisting of diverse individuals from around the world. We are based in downtown Vancouver with lots of flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. Responsibilities & Duties

  • Preparing proposals and PowerPoint presentations with the support of the Sales Managers
  • Prospecting and lead generation – you will contribute to the fast-growing business, and source new opportunities and leads
  • Fielding incoming requests, assessing preliminary customer needs and directing them to the appropriate Sales Manager
  • Suggesting and providing input into the production of marketing materials based on feedback from the Sales Managers and customers
  • Supporting the preparation of sales trips and conferences
  • Occasionally attending trade shows and exhibitions and representing TREA at those shows
  • Working in close cooperation with other staff from all TREA offices, you will foster information exchange and share technical and sales solutions with them
  • Continuously improving your job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field such as sales and marketing or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Sales experience in a support role in a technical discipline, ideally Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotech or Engineering
  • Proven ability to produce, proofread, format and editing proposals or reports
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and/or canva
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and currently residing in the Greater Vancouver area

The following skills are an asset

  • Knowledge of remote sensing
  • Experience with geospatial technology
  • Post secondary education or equivalent experience in Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotech, Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and/or Salesforce

Published on January 12th, 2023. TRE Altamira is looking for a permanent, full-time InSAR Processing Operator with a degree in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering to join our multidisciplinary and multicultural team in Milan or Barcelona.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Process and analyze satellite radar images with proprietary software (SqueeSAR®)
  • Identify best processing strategies for each project, taking into account all factors that could affect the results
  • Liaising with the Customer Support team to create deliverables that respect the Company quality standards
  • Explore and suggest new techniques to improve products
  • Support Sales department providing technical consultancy
  • Define and improve the best practice of InSAR technology
  • Collaborate with our internal MATLAB development team to improve tools, introduce methodologies and develop new functionalities

Required Experience & Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MATLAB™ software
  • Advanced level of English (speaking and writing)

Published on September 1st, 2022. TRE ALTAMIRA’s Milan office is looking for a full-time Geospatial Solutions Operator with a geological or engineering technical background. The Geospatial Team is dedicated to the analysis of SAR data and the delivery to the Clients with a strong focus on customer support. This role requires good GIS expertise, excellent writing and communication skills, problem solving and a negotiation attitude. The Candidate should enjoy the challenge of learning new things and he/she loves applying his/her skills to fulfill clients’ needs.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
  • Conducting post-processing of InSAR datasets with ESRI ArcGIS software to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Liaising with the data processing team to understand the InSAR data sets and ensure they meet required quality standards
  • Presents results to clients. Liaising with clients to build and maintain strong, professional relationships
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines while delivering on commitments to clients
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Writing clear professional reports that incorporate spatial data analysis and geographic information
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs
  • Supporting sales and marketing by preparing material (presentations, case histories, white papers, etc.), attending company booths at tradeshows, as well as attending technical conferences

Education & Experience requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering, or other related technical disciplines
  • Knowledge of InSAR and remote sensing
  • Good knowledge of ArcGIS software
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • C-level English knowledge (writing and speaking)
