TRE ALTAMIRA is at the SPE/CHOA Slugging it Out Conference
on April 26th, 2022
TRE ALTAMIRA monitors surface heave for SAGD and CSS operations in Alberta. Satellite-based InSAR data provides insight on the impact of subsurface operations on surface displacement, adding to information on well conformance, well failures and infrastructure stability. Multiple SAR satellites are acquiring imagery over Alberta, providing the opportunity for a temporally and spatially dense array of displacement measurements over any field. Many archives cover from 1992-onward, with weekly to monthly updates currently available. Where snow and vegetation limit the presence of natural reflectors, TRE ALTAMIRA's corner reflectors, designed specifically for northern climates, provide reliable measurements year-round.

Operational optimization
SqueeSAR® displacement data provides insight on well conformance, well failures and infrastructure stability.
Risk mitigation
The timeliness and accuracy of InSAR measurements help operators mitigate risk, and meet HSE and regulatory requirements.
Cost effective
No other technology provides such dense measurements and at a fraction of the cost of other survey techniques.
Visualization platform
Our InSAR results can be visualized and analyzed through TREmaps®, our web-platform, and can also be integrated with traditional surveying methods.
