Our Vancouver office is looking for a Sales Manager for the Canadian and US Energy Sector to manage business development in this sector and expand TREA offerings in an effective and efficient manner, as well as to play a role in the development of the company as it grows.

Principal Duties

The position will have the following tasks and goals:

  • Develop new customers and maintain existing customers within the Energy sector
  • Develop new leads, develop business relationships and close contracts in the relevant sectors
  • Preparing bids in response to RFPs and making unsolicited proposals within the sectors
  • Prepare and present technical and business papers at national and international trade shows and conferences
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, support the current and future deliverables to these clients
  • Make appropriate sales trip to develop the sector
  • Attend appropriate trade shows and exhibitions and represent TREA at those shows
  • Suggest and give input into the production of marketing materials
  • Work in close cooperation with other parts of the TRE Altamira Group and CLS to foster information exchange regarding the sector and share technical and operational solutions with them

Supplementary Duties

The Sales manager will also engage in wider activities of the company by:

  • Providing support to the CEO and Operations efforts of the company
  • Liaising with the Accounts Department on cost and budget issues
  • Contributing ideas to improve the company’s overall service to customers
  • Take on other business sectors commensurate with the company needs
  • Other duties as required

Education & Experience

  • Proven sales experience in the Energy Sector, at least 3 years plus
  • Experience with Geospatial and/or InSAR technology
  • Post-secondary education in Geology, Geomatics, Civil, Geotech, Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • Knowledge of remote sensing is an asset
  • Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset (e.g. Italian, Spanish, French)
